HOw I help

Every day, I work with companies at all stages of the product development life cycle—from early research through launch—to build sustainable product development and commercialization strategies grounded in pragmatism, reality and common sense. Together, we strive to understand objectively the potential of each technology and how it will be perceived by physicians, payers and patients, and develop integrated go-to-market strategies and tactics to optimize product performance. 


Drawing upon my applied launch experience and cross-functional knowledge, I help clients address important questions that need to be answered on the way towards successful commercialization. 

  • How to mitigate bias in R&D decision-making?
  • What is the commercial value of target indications, and which indication(s) to prioritize for development? 
  • What is the go-to-market strategy for the prioritized indication(s)? 
  • What is the optimal commercialization model: "go alone," hybrid, or outlicensing? 
  • What organizational capabilities are required for launch? 
  • How should a successful launch be planned, coordinated and executed? 


The days of simply creating medicines and detailing them to clinicians to gain commercial success are a thing of the past. Amid rising budgets, payers find it challenging to pay even for the life-saving medications. Providers are frustrated with trying patient journeys due to payer reimbursement constraints. And patients struggle to obtain affordable access to products. The landscape changes with therapeutic area, geography, the level of competition, and patient population size, and complexity is further amplified with gene therapies, orphan disease products, and launching into crowded specialty areas.
 

I understand the complexity and work across all functions—development, regulatory, medical, clinical, market access, and commercial—to develop integrated commercial strategies and tactics for your first launch and lifecycle management.

You will notice that all my services have three things in common. They require the ability to understand the strategic objective, speak effectively to the various functions, and drive collaboration and change management with sensitivity to organizational reality. Let me become your integrator, an effective bridge between your functions, geographies and individuals.  


I can either be incorporated into your organization virtually or retain my identity as an external consultant; or any hybrid in between. All solutions are 100% customized to your unique situation. 


And when my solo capabilities are not enough, I help source and manage other agencies whose help is needed to complement client and my expertise.
